Description
Core conceptualization: The integration between PPE, air-purifying respirator headgear and our controlled system technology is to create a negative pressure room to fully capture all the air inside the system with a limited escaping particle.
How it works: The enclosed headgear is connected with an airflow tube at its back. Then, the fan creates a suction force to pump the air out of a headgear to create a negative pressure system. An air quality and differential pressure between inside helmet and surroundings is measured by Adafruit PM sensor. A microcontroller automatically changes the speed of the fan based on a negative feedback of the PM Sensor. Our device meets the required differential pressure between the surroundings and enclosed system of FDA which is greater than 2.5 Pa, and at the optimal level, the noise inside the device is lower than the loudness of a fridge, 40dB.
